Starting a business is hard. And especially because initially, most people won't believe in you. Including friends and family.
And I completely get it because most businesses fail. Especially in my industry, corporate video production.
Thing is, they're right. Statistically. Because the reality is most businesses fail.
So to someone in a salaried position, starting a business looks crazy. And good friends and family care about us. That we're giving up all that stability and success.
So don't hold it against them when they try to warn us off. Rather, when you're successful, just open the champagne and enjoy the success. They'll enjoy it with you. Or just enjoy and grow your business some more. It's a fantastic feeling.
